HAPPY EASTER

Happy Easter! I am so excited to be celebrating Easter and the resurrection of Christ. As you may notice I dont usually post about anything religious because I guess I am just not all that comfortable talking publicly about it. However, today is one of my favorite holidays because of what it represents. I have never felt closer to God and Jesus Christ then I do now. I have learned a lot of the crucifiction and resurrection of Christ this Easter and I am so grateful the knowledge I continue to gain of the most selfless sacrifice.

Now, as for the Easter morning we have been having has been both good and bad. Good because we all woke up, got dressed for church, found Cache's Easter basket, and took a picture all before church started at 8:30. That was so amazing...we never make it on time! For the bad...Cache has been sick for the past week and yesterday and today has been so incredibly whiney I feel like I am going to go nuts. From the minute he woke up this morning nothing could go his way. Everything was a battle...and many that I lost. We made it through sacrament but Dave and I decided it best to take him home after. So after a three hour nap he seems to be a little better. I made a carrot cake for Easter and we are going to Sam and Annie's for dinner. Should be yummy! Happy Easter.

Cache is checking out his Chocolate Bunny

He wanted to take his Easter Basket with him to church

He found a Sun's jersey in his basket; and now since the Sun's can no longer make playoffs Cache can wear his Jazz jersey (I knew that would make Grandpa happy)

Easter Egg Hunt

I feel like time is just flying by...it is already Easter. Cache and I had an easter egg hunt with some friends and I think he really had a great time. He was just so stinkin cute. I hid all the eggs before he woke up that morning and while I was in preparing for the party Cache was in the backyard playing when he realized there were plastic eggs all over the yard. I went outside and saw him getting into all the eggs; then see what appears to be chocolate all over his face. Chocolate? I didn't put any chocolate in the eggs? So I go on with setting up and realize he is eating another piece of candy, I look and he has a tootsie roll in his mouth with the wrapper still on it! OOPS, so I am guessing that the first candy was also a tootsie roll and that he ate some wrapper...yummy. Anyway, we had a fun egg hunt followed by some frosting sugar cookies. Cache loved it and I think he little friends did too! Unfortunately a few days later Cache started getting a fever and a terrible cough. I called the nurse and she believed it to be croup. Yuck. Sickness is always such a bummer. He has been a pretty good boy, not hit too hard, but I think we will skip nusery this sunday to ensure a healthy little boy for our trip to Utah next week. At least we had a good start to the week.

Found some eggs...yummy, candy!
I wonder what they are running from?

Plotting their next move
