Over Exaggerated!

I always thought people would over exaggerate when they would say their baby or kids fall asleep when they were eating, until it happened to Cache. Seriously I did not think he was very tired then at lunch he just dozed off...it was pretty funny.

Cache's Birthday

I know it has been awhile since Cache's birthday but I am finally getting around to posting some pics. I have been really sick so we just decided to have dinner here at home and then on Saturday we invited two of his friends next door to come over and go swimming. It turned out to be really fun and I think he enjoyed it. I am going through that guilty stage fo feeling like I can't give cache hardly any attention and just want to lay in be all day. I am hoping the passes soon and he knows I am sick, but it is so hard when he wants to be all over the place and I am just focusing on no more visits to the ER. Happy birthday cache...two looks good on you!

Opening some presents...he loved this part

Cache's pool party

Clayton and Tiaunna got stuck in Arizona on their way home from Puerto Rico so we got to spend a day with them. It was fun to see them.

The babe

So here are the first pics of our babe! I am now 2 months along and just as sick as I was with Cache. The beautiful thing is now they have affordable medicine that keeps you from upchucking everyday. Still feeling the nausea and wanting to throw up, but have been blessed to only throw up on rare occasions. I live in bed and so many people have been helping out with taking cache in the mornings and now we just await the arrival of grandma (coming next week.) I think out of all the pain during pregnancy this is the time I cannot stand. Only two more months, right? I hope this ends soon, yuck.

Cache goes poop! (Not for the weak stomached)

I have to post the funniest thing that happened yesterday. So I wasn't feeling good and was laying on the couch. Cache starts getting into everything and goes into the bathroom and closes the door. This is never a good sign, but like I said I was not feeling very well so I let him play in there for a few minutes and walked in. He was washing his hands and I noticed poop all over the toilet seat. He had climbed onto the toilet seat, pooped, then without wiping climbed back down and washed his hands. I was so elated...he went poop in the toilet!!!! I was clapping and telling him how awesome he was and I could tell he was very excited. This was no mediocre poop, it was a good size! So we cleaned everything up and I probably gave him way too much candy. Then he pooped in his diaper later that night and thought that was short lived. Until today I bought some M&M's and tried to explain that if he went to the bathroom in the toilet he would get candy. So needless to say the door to the bathroom closed and when I went in he had pooped in the toilet again. I gave him his candy but am pretty sure he still doesn't understand why he got it. He just kept crying that he wanted more candy. I came to that conclusion when our conversation went something like: Cache, "Candy Candy" Mom, "you have to poo poo or pee pee in the toilet then you get more candy" Cache, "Candy Candy" Mom, "Cache no more till you poo poo or pee pee" and so on. Anyway, I have to say I am so not ready to potty train but it seems he is so I guess we will try it. I have been avoiding it until later this year when I thought he would understand better, but I guess I am kinda stuck. I don't know whether I should continue to encourage it or just write it off for now. Well whether he continues to grasp the concept or not I thought he was pretty funny.

So What's hapennin' this summer?

Yes I say summer because I believe here in Arizona we have been having summer for the past month. 90 and 100 degree weather constitutes summer for me. I got a new Nikon camera and love it. It has a little more features than a point and shoot, but not too professional that I have no clue how to use it. So I have been playing around with it and it is so fun to shoot with. Of course my favorite subject is cache so here are some pics:
Daddy pushing cache on the swing

Fell off and waiting for someone to help him up

We bought a pool and it wouldn't work, such a pile of crap. Cache had fun anyway.

Needless to say Cache did not want to get out of the pool and threw his one of many tantrums!

So I started a garden thinking I might get a couple of tomatoes and cucumbers out of it and to my surprise it has flourished. Arizona is a really great place for growing a garden.

I made a small space by the fence but didn't realize the plants would grow so big...they are overgrowing their alloted area.

I have like 2 full grown cucumbers and there are like 10 teeny ones starting to grow. We will be eating lotsa cucumbers soon.

There are about 10 tomatoes I am waiting to turn red, yummy!

And losta peppers, those were ready to be picked and cache had a blast pulling them off the stem. I also have cilantro and a green bell pepper. I am so excited it is growing!

Our Visit to Utah

Utah! When our airplane landed there was snow which I am sure most Utahn's were dreading...Cache and I were so excited. Cache and I flew to Utah and stayed for a week then Dave flew in and we stayed for another week...a total of two weeks. It sounds like a long time, but always goes by so fast. We went to the aquarium, the tulip festival, saw the animals at Thanksgiving point, and saw some movies. We made the most of our time that is for sure. It was exciting to spend time with the family and we are lucky and able to see everyone quite a bit (after a few guilt trips...that's what big sista's are for!) Now I just need to convince everyone they need to move next to me, I don't think I can guilt that one. I let cache sleep in the room with me at my mom's house for the first week because I was nervous he would wake up and get scared and not know where he is. So every morning I would wake up to...MOMMA! Where Grandma? Grandpa? Tendal? TT? He is at such a funny stage, the best way to put it was when the lady in front of us in the airplane on our way home said to us at the end of the flight, "I forgot how they love to repeat everything at this stage." Oh yes he does, the entire flight was..."airplane, airplane, airplane, bird, bird bird" you get my picture. He surprises me everday at how smart he is and how much I love him. I love you too family, we miss you.

Cache found an old binki at my moms house and loved keeping it in his mouth, until he remembered his thumb.

So happy with the attention he gets from his aunties!
